2024 1/12 Marine Resources Council

GFWC Viera Woman’s Club, Inc. members visited the non-profit Marine Resources Council on January 12, 2024. Deb Gudzune, Environment CSP Chairman along with club members Verna Faine, Pat Pellegrino and Debra Gorham participated in repotting mangrove seedlings. Marine Resources Council mission is “to improve water quality and restore the fish and wildlife resources of the Indian River Lagoon, coastal waters, in shore reefs and watershed by advocating and using sound science, education and the involvement of the public at large” (MRC website at https://savetheirl.org/). Viera Woman’s Club is proud to partner in volunteer service and support with MRC.
