GFWC Special Projects 2026-2028
The GFWC Signature Program
Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention
The goal of the GFWC Signature Program is to increase awareness of and help prevent the
widespread occurrence of domestic and sexual violence abuse in communities across the nation.
GFWC aims to be a powerful voice for victims and survivors.
The goal of GFWC’s Signature Program is also to increase awareness and prevent violence against women worldwide, with a focus on human trafficking. GFWC Clubwomen create awareness campaigns to educate communities about human trafficking. We also advocate for legislation to hold traffickers accountable and oppose laws that decriminalize human trafficking.
The GFWC Signature Program has eight AREAS OF FOCUS:
Campus Sexual Assault, Child Abuse, Elder Abuse, Human Trafficking for Sexual
Purposes, Intimate Partner Violence, Military Sexual Assault, Teen Dating Violence
and Violence Against Native American Women.

GFWC Viera Woman's Club, Inc. Projects
The Haven for Children - Haven III - Chef du jour Program
Paws and Stripes College - Serene Harbor
One of the creative ways that GFWC Viera Woman’s Club, Inc. supports the GFWC Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention initiative is through adoption of homemade pigs. These little pigs have been so popular outside of our organization that as members, please know you can accept a request from a non-member to "Adopt a Pig". A piggy can be "adopted" for a $10 donation to support the GFWC Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness Prevention initiative.
