2025 Shatter the Silence Event

GFWC Viera Woman's Club conducted an event to Shatter the Silence to End Domestic and Sexual Violence. The activities included a walk for the victims beginning at The Avenue Viera. Commissioner Feltner attended in a show of support. We also had "Max" a puppy in training to find missing persons. Ending the walk at Keke's for breakfast, where the restaurant donated 15% of our members' breakfast tickets back to the club.

On September 23, an educational seminar on Human Trafficking was held at the Health Department where invaluable information was shared on how to recognize traffiking and report. The founder of Life Recaptured spoke services offered to recovered women where they can heal.
