Education & Libraries Bake Sale & Mini Grant 2024

GFWC Viera Woman’s Club inc., enjoyed a bake sale to benefit the library on Friday October 25, 2024. We made $293 and the proceeds will go to the library. The bake sale was held during the library book sale. Many members supplied cookies, brownies and other sweets to raise the funds. Many thanks to our CSP Education & Libraries committee and everyone who participated in this project!

GFWC Viera Woman’s Club, Inc., Education and Libraries gave a $500.00 mini grant to a teacher on October 25, at Viera Elementary. Diane P. and Harriet H. attended the presentation with Janice Crenshaw - President and CEO of Brevard School Foundation (balloons) and Nina Mossler, Director of Development of Brevard School Foundation. Our $500 Bright Ideas Classroom Grant went to Stephanie Leach from Viera Elementary. The project is titled "Explore Science in the Classroom”. At the end of the school year, we will learn how the mini grant helped to improve education.
